Henry Tran

Co-founder & CEO

Henry Tran is currently completing an EMBA at HEC Paris. He previously earned a Master/Diplôme d'ingénieur in mechanical engineering and materials science from the University of Technology of Compiègne. Before founding Lumière Quantum, Henry served as Deputy Global Head of IT Audit for a blue-chip company. With over 15 years of experience in M&A tech carve-outs, cybersecurity, business, and IT audit across the financial services, energy, media, and retail sectors, Henry has worked for top-tier companies such as Rothschild & Co and Mitsubishi Corporation.

Christophe Couteau

Co-founder & CSO

Christophe Couteau is Professor of Physics (Professeur des universités) at the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT) and the University of Oxford. He has a PhD in Physics from Paris-Saclay University. Additionally, he is the Director of the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) laboratory light, nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in Troyes. One young researcher at the lab, Shuwen Zeng, received the CNRS Bronze Medal this year, highlighting the lab’s commitment to rigor and innovation. Christophe has completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford, the National University of Singapore and the University of Waterloo, Canada where the world-class Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) has been established. He is also the coordinator of Maison du 11 Quantique Grand Est (MaQuEst). Passionate about data privacy, he has been inspired by the Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) encryption programme.
